Meet The Teachers

Director

Hello I am Sydney. I grew up in Hancock with a big family. I love outdoor activities, puzzles, and cooking new recipes. I love coming up with new games and sensory bins for the kids to explore different materials. I have been working with children for over 7 years and have moved my way up from assistant teacher to Director of the center! I have been the Director for just over a year and have loved working to better the center for the children, staff, and the community.

Preschool Assisstant Teacher

Hi I'm Peyton! I've been working with children ages 2 months to 11 years for about 2 years, previously in North Dakota. My favorite part of working with kids is getting to watch all of them learn, grow, and become their own little people. Outside of work, I love hanging out with my family and friends, going to the beach, finding any excuse to go shopping, and spending time with all of my animals.

I'm so happy to be working here, it's such a blessing that I get to be a part of their everyday lives!

Hello! My name is Destiny, and I am a passionate and dedicated infant/toddler teacher with more than 8 years of experience teaching little ones in fun and creative ways that work best for them. I believe that every child has their own unique way of learning that helps them grow into the happiest and most confident version of themselves. When I'm not caring for little ones, you can find me exploring nature, making art or settling down with my favorite book. I'm so excited to meet you and see how much fun we can have here at Bridging Gaps!

My name is Bailee, and I have been working in childcare with all ages for 5 years now! Being a part of the Bridging Gaps team means so much to me, as I have created unforgettable bonds with the kids, their families, and my co-teachers, I strive to make everyday a special experience for the children in our care.

Lead Preschool Teacher

Hello I'm Bethany! I have been at Bridging Gaps since they opened, and it is my first job working with children, but I've volunteered at BHK in 2016 as well as being a Faith Formation teacher at my church since 2023. Before I worked with children I worked for many years cleaning- so naturally helping kids clean-up is one of my favorite activities. But I enjoying working on writing the alphabet and their names and seeing them progress over time. In my free time I love to go rock picking.
