We are center that focuses on a play-based and child led curriculum. We tend to mix our age groups up and work under a 1 to 4 ratios most days.
We plan our daily activities around what the children are interested in and teach "lessons" around these interests as well.
At our center we really encourage parents to get involved in "improving" the center to better the children experience and the materials they are provided to learn.
Our Parent Advisor Board has worked together to find ways to fundraiser for new materials and supplies, planning family engagement evenings and meeting together to discuss ways to help the center thrive.
